AMENDMENT! (Thanks to Liz for emailing to let me know that if Gary hadn’t turned up with his jigsaw then they job would have taken a whole lot longer!)
A very exciting event took place at Gardening club on Tuesday 19th June – we were able to make use of our very own, very new raised beds.
Technically speaking they aren’t that new as they are made from old pallets. A special thanks go to two of our very handy parents – Liz Towey and Leanne Shipley and also one of our very handy grandparents – Gary Cooper – who dedicated their time to transforming these old pallets into these amazing raised beds.
We also dug up the remaining leeks from last year which we were able to take home – yum yum!
… and planted more in our brand new raised beds!
Our potatoes have somehow survived through all this wet weather and are coming along nicely!
