High Spen Primary School had a fun Harvest Festival this year. We all practiced hard to learn some great songs. On the morning of the festival we walked down to St. Patrick’s Church with the staff and some kind parents that had given up their time to go with us.

FWD performed an entertaining play about a young mouse called Maximus that thought harvest was just about food. The Years 5 and 6’s spent the rest of the morning delivering food which had been donated by the children to senior citizens around the village.

What a successful Harvest Festival it was !
