On the 10th and 11th of October this year, some of class FWD went to Durham University to test new multi touch interactive computer tables. The university wanted to see if the computer tables helped with learning.
On the computer tables you could send things to other tables and the teacher was able to freeze all the tables with just hand actions. The lessons FWD did were mysteries in English and times tables in Maths. The group also did a quick quiz on paper and some cool games before leaving. Lucas Kennington said ‘It was the best trip ever and I loved the computer tables.’
The half of FWD really enjoyed those extremely fun days and hopefully the other half of the class will enjoy their days there just as much too.
