On Wednesday 13th November, four year sixes from TY went to TESCO’s at Kingston Park to represent our school in the Young Mathematicians Award. They had one hour to solve one of the trickiest math problems. They could use eight dice at the most and four at the least. The two to six showing dice on the bottom had to add up to the one on the top. Any two faces touching had to be the same number. They had to find as many different sequences as possible. The children found even more than the teachers. There were four other schools to compete against, they all did pretty well.
