On Wednesday 5th March, Class TY went on a visit to the DLI Museum to look at the artifacts about World War 1.

First the class split up into two groups and each group went off to do a different activity. Group 1 went to a big room with 5 tables and on each table was information and surveys from different soldiers who took part in WW1. Each pupil was given a name tag with a soldier’s name on. Each child had to find their soldier’s table and had to find as much information as possible. At the end each group had to share what they had found out about their soldier. Group 2 went to a different room and dressed up as a soldier’s family. Two people in the group dressed up as a photographer and his assistant and took pictures of the family.
