Forget Year 6 SAT’s for a minute, because the Year 5’s have had their own challenging exams. All through the last week of school (week beginning 19/05/2014), the younger members of class TY have worked their socks off through reading, written maths and mental arithematic. They did a great job though, and everyone was given the level they wanted. What’s more, every single Year 5 child reached their Summer target – and some even smashed past it!
“Phew!” says Year 5 Marianne Murphy, “Thank goodness it’s over. I’m glad I got the result I wanted!”
No-one stressed out too much during the tests, so next year the Year 6 SAT’s tests will be a little easier!
