It’s not what you think! You certainly wouldn’t want to eat it! This week in gardening club a team of children from TY helped Sarah at the HOP garden to create a garden lasagne in one of their raised beds. This involved using shredded paper, cardboard, sawdust, leaves, water and horse poo (I mean manure because teachers don’t say ‘poo’). During the winter this will rot down to put lots of nutrients back into the soil which means that in the Spring it will be ready for us to plant in new vegetables.
