Monday 10th November saw our annual Act of Remembrance. Every year the whole school gathers together with members of the local community and the DLI to remember those who gave their lives in World War One. This year we marked the occasion in the traditional way with the laying of wreaths, the reading of Flanders Fields by Y6 pupils, words from Father John and a reading from Colonel Johnson. However as 2014 is the start of the centenary, we also chose to share some stories that children in our school had researched about members of their family. All in all it was a memorable occasion.
