The children, staff and parents of High Spen Primary School would like to welcome you to our website.

We are a friendly and supportive school whose staff and children will always be ready with a smile. We try and update this website regularly so please keep checking it.

We are always busy, so it’s worth looking every week.

We’d love to hear your comments and feedback. You can do this using the Comments link below many of the postings on our site. We look forward to hearing from you!

If you are looking at our website with a view to joining us I would urge you to pick up the phone and arrange an appointment to see us in the flesh though as it is only by stepping through the doors that you can really appreciate what a special place this is.

Nativity Early Years
Dec 19 @ 9:30 am – 10:30 am

This year we are going back to a joint Early Years’ performance. It is quite traditional so please let me know if you have any questions about this. Reception children will be playing the ‘human’ roles and Nursery children will be the all-important animals – everyone knows they are the stars of the show! I will send out a letter in due course about costumes but in the meantime you just need to know there will be two performances (held in Nursery) and you will need to buy tickets for the show. Due to space restrictions, we ask that only two grown-ups attend per child please.

The children work very hard every year and we ask that if you have toddlers who may be noisy that you attend the dress rehearsal performance on the 18th December. Thank you for your understanding.
