Hello!

We are Class MLK and we are Year 3.

We are proud to be in class MLK, which stands for Martin Luther King. Dr Martin Luther King Junior was a hero famous for fighting for equality. 

• He lived in America over 60 years ago.
• He led the fight for equal rights for black people in America.
• He didn’t believe in using violence to change things.
• He was famous for his powerful speeches.

He wanted people to be treated equally whatever the colour of their skin. In our class, we want to echo the same qualities that he stood for. We want to treat everyone with respect, show kindness to all and be the best versions of ourselves we can be. We want to work hard, have fun and look out for each other!

This year we have Miss Murray as our class teacher, supported by Mrs Scott.
