Hello! We are class FWD and we are Year 4.

Here in year 4 we are called FWD, Frederick William Dobson. We are named after a true Spenner. A local hero. Our Local hero. A High Spen veteran who served in the First World War, a Victoria Cross recipient, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry. Someone who showed bravery and dedication, a role model for all. Here in FWD we strive to accomplish qualities that would make him proud. Honesty and Bravery. Not just being truthful and honest to others but being honest to ourselves, knowing what we need help with and having the courage to ask for help, being brave enough to understand that we make mistakes but we can learn from them and be better than we were before. With actions like these, we leave FWD stronger and ready to face whatever comes our way.  

This year we have Mr Fumoleau as our class teacher, supported by Miss Hackney in the mornings and Mrs Tones or Mrs Newbegin in the afternoons.
