At High Spen we pride ourselves on providing an exciting curriculum that makes sense to children. We seek sensible links in learning from previous years and other subjects – so it is important to be in and ready to learn every day.

We are currently working with our School Improvement Partner to explore current thinking around what teachers can do to help children learn, remember and do more. Mrs Heron is our Cognitive Load Guru, she is doing a great job of leading the rest of us through this learning (but don’t tell her I said so!)
